  • While I have a long history of supervising and mentoring SLP students and absolutely enjoy this privilege, we are primarily serving clients through Early Steps at this time. Early Steps allows observations with parent permission, but the program does not allow students to treat clients at this time.

  • While supervision and mentorship is a fun and rewarding journey, it’s also a serious endeavor. I expect assistant level providers and student clinicians to be prepared for real supervision that meets (and likely exceeds) the required minimums. I also expect the following from supervisees: open and honest communication, timeliness and preparedness, when you’ve gotten comfortable it’s time to learn something new, and operate with integrity and the highest ethical standards.
